Commonwealth Games, New Delhi 2010 .

Here are a selection of images created in respect of CWG held in Delhi recently. The idea was to convey the sheer excitement and pride that may have been felt by many Delhi-ites (especially after the Games were staged!) The main aim was to bring across some striking visual images to hit home such pride felt as Delhi was ready (or not completely) to immerse itself in the 3rd biggest multi-sporting event in the world.

The idea of having a badminton player in an athletic stance, about to hit the Lotus Temple which is a similar shape to a shuttlecock, is typical of how I planned on depicting various Delhi landmarks as the backdrop or setting for each major sporting discipline.
